From AIRPORT: 1. Taxi organised by us (waiting for you with a sign with your name on it). Price: 22EUR/2 pers. (21EUR/pers). Click on 'Airport Pickup'. 2. Airport shuttle bus: You can order it yourself upon arrival at the airport. Have to wait for it and it goes to several hotels. Price: one-way: 3000HUF/pers. (about 11EUR), 5500HUF/2 pers. (about 20.5EUR). 3. Public transportation: Takes about 1 hour, not the easiest way to get to the city. You need 2 tickets from TERMINAL 2 or 1 ticket from TERMINAL 1 (in case you take the train). Price: 320HUF/ticket (about 1.2EUR)
From KELETI TRAIN STATION: Take bus no.7, 7E or 173, get off at Ferenciek Tere (square), it is right before the river (you can see the big white bridge from the bus stop). Then find Veres Palne street which begins from the square. At Veres Palne st. no.7 please press doorbell: Club Apartment Budapest.

LODGING
Club Apartments Junior are provided with FREE INTERNET connection & PC, dish washer and completely equipped kitchen, washing machine with drier..etc. The 40 sqm Club Junior rentals have bedrooms and living rooms, kitchen and bathroom. They are situated on the first and second floors. Each apartment has a kitchen, bathroom, living room and a bedroom. In the living room there is a pull out sofa, which can be comfortable for two adults. The maximum capacity of each apartment is 4 adults. The apartments are equipped with nice and modern furniture, PC and TV with cable channels. The kitchens are completely equipped including dish washer, washing machine with drier function, cooking amenities, cutlery, plates, refrigerator and microwave oven.
The building has an elevator/lift.
Children Policy:
- Child less than 6 years old: free of charge in parents' room
- 2 children less than 6 years old: 5 euro/night
-Child between 6-12 years: 5 EUR/night
AIR CONDITIONING FOR 8 EURO/DAY.
FIELD LOCATION
The apartment are placed in the 5th district, which is the best quarter of Budapest. The apartments are in the heart of Budapest, in the Vaci Street area: 1 minute from Vaci utca (street) and 2 minutes from Ferencziek Square (metro stop). Veres Palne Street (where the apartments are located) is parallel with Vaci Street and about 500 m far from River Danube. The apartments are in walking distance to the main tourist attractions, shops, restaurants, pubs…

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We reserve the right to request security deposit in case of group reservations or at least 4 guests staying in the same apartment. The safety deposit is 50EUR/guest and required to be paid at check-in. It will be refund if the apartment has been returned in the condition guests occupied upon arrival and landlord agrees that no damage had been caused, company policy had not been broken.

 | We chose this apartment for the combination of location and price. On arrival, we found apt very clean, and management attentive and helpful. Internet connection was fast, the bed good quality, and with windows facing the inner court, it was quiet. It also had high ceilings, a plus in a small apt.
It is very close to all central sightseeing, short walk to a metro station for further sites, and most importantly, walking distance to a lot of good restaurants.
Kitchen is well equipped for a vacation appt, including washing machine.
I highly recommend it for 1-2 people. It probably can accomodate a third person, especially a chid, because a separator wall between the sleeping area and the sitting area makes it closer to a one bedroom than a studio, but it may become crowded.
I also recommend airport pickup: after transatlantic flight, it is nice to be met at the airport and then handed over to the building manager who gets you settled. | ||
 | I would add some more linen to the setup: face towels (only bath towels were provided), bath mat, and kitchen towels. It was not an issue for us, because I brought my own towels to visit famous Budapest Baths, and did not do any cooking, but otherwise I would have asked for extras, and have no doubt that Tibor would have provided them. | ||
